FUNNY-FRISCH PUTS THE NEW CHIP FLAVOUR TO VOTE
CHIPS-WAHL 2011

Within the Chips-Wahl 2011, funny-frisch and Bastian Schweinsteiger introduce five new chips flavours online and let the consumers decide, which will be launched on the market. The Chips-Wahl 2011 was created and implemented by us for funny-frisch, the German market leader in the segment of salty snacks.  

ABeing the lead agency for this major project, we have translated the current funny-frisch testimonial campaign featuring Bastian Schweinsteiger into an integrated web-focussed activation concept. This includes among other activities an extensive online platform with social media integration, TV, online advertising as well as POS and trade communication. The agencies TBWA, Initiative and Pixelpark have supported us during the implementation process.   

The pivotal element of the funny-frisch Chips-Wahl 2011 is the online platform www.funny-frisch.de. Here, the five new chips flavours are presented. Everybody who wants to test them can apply as a Chips-Tester. Through an online voting the public decides who will be among the 1.000 lucky winners who receive a big test package with the five new flavours. These 1.000 Chips-Testers – and only these! – will elect Germany’s new chips flavour. They cast their votes online, where the election results are also published and updated daily.   

On June 19th, 2011 the winning flavour of the Chips-Wahl 2011 is decided and will be available from August 2011.
